Amongst others there are two key forces that can cause this election to be close or to be lost:
1) Media continuing to misreport in favor of John McCain in order to sway public opinion
2) Democrats and other Obama supporters mismanaging their passion and their opinions about their own party or candidate and do not use enough wherewithal to be effective without being careless in the process
Both are working effectively and both are highly detrimental. #2 involves FISA. Republicans rarely allow this to happen. They are smarter and far less over-reactive in there strategic ways of going about things where they need to make an effect but not harm their people or their candidate.
The passionate Obama supporters contributing to #2 are detrimental to the election being won and are already causing Democrats ridicule in the press. Feel free to express yourselves of course! There is much to be angry or energized about after the last seven years, but lets voice things strategically. When we see words like "flip-flop" or other negative terms, it only feeds the opposition fodder. As all of you smart Obama folks know, the politics of distraction is what the Republicans are about (and much of the media) and any cause you are voicing will be duped into just being about the tag line, the superficial and the sensational.
If you truly are a supporter (I say this because I sense that not all of the folks on this blog and site are supporters, yet are people trying to cause dissent. I suspect an attempt by non-supporters to create as much infighting as possible ) and are practicing carelessly, you may be causing more harm that you think and you may very well end up with more strife than you want by electing John McCain.
We must actively and in spirit and partnership make sure #s 1 and 2 above cease. #2 is most within our control. Let's outsmart them.
BarackON!
